Hi! My name is Desireé. I’m a wife, mom, and follower of Jesus!
When we first experienced a forest/ nature school back in the city of Houston, TX we were amazed to learn about (and experience) the emotional & physical benefits of getting outdoors with other families in our community.
When we moved to Columbus County, NC we knew it was the right decision, but we struggled with finding community, and things to do outdoors with other families. Instead of giving up I decided to see if others were experiencing the same things- boredom, loneliness, lack of community, lack of motivation to get outside, lack of activities for our kids to do in the local area and it turns out I wasn’t the only one. Others in our community have been experiencing the same struggles, and it’s time we change that!
